Halcyon Days
There was a time when the only problem that I had with heavy rain was if it made the ball wet in rugby. This is Milton Abbey school near Milton Abbas; we happened upon it after viewing a house (which we really liked) and it brought back memories of running on to a pitch ready for a game in the piddling rain. My school (downside.co.uk) wasn't far from this one, so we must have played them at various sports.
On returning to our caravan I discovered that this is the tail end of Storm Alex and that tonight will be as bad as the last two . . . I hope that the awning holds up.
