ANOTHER CORVID

What a miserable day in which I failed to achieve almost everything I'd planned. However, a much-awaited delivery turned up two days late for B, and exceeded his expectations, and I went out and got a few supplies in, managing to snap this magpie which was the only thing that stood out in the dismal light.

Twelve years today since my dearest Dad died, so I've been thinking of him today, but also my cousin Dave whose 80th birthday it is and who is cracking on with life despite being in very poor health at the moment.

Tomorrow is another day and perhaps I'll whistle through all the chores I failed to do today.... or not.
