View from bedroom window

Another backblip.

View from my bedroom window in Devon.  The soil is red here which shows up in the stone of the outhouses. The wall at the top left is a typical Devon wall with tiles on the top.  I think they are to protect the cob stones in the middle of them behind the rendering from the rain - unless anyone else has the answer.

Today we visited a antiques emporium at Hele a couple of miles away which also has an auction room attached.  So many different things to view which one rarely sees further east.  Country bygones.  I did fall in love with a classic car - an old Buick 8.  Maroon in colour with silver chrome and ivory leather seats - those were the days!
