Happy Dog Weather
It was wet and misty out in the beech woods . Only dogs were out and about , taking their owners for walkies . By the time we left the mist had turned to fog .
A day to be spent indoors , sorting and tidying , so much to go through that it’s difficult to imagine life at the end of the tunnel .
We went to have a test drive in a car yesterday as our family car is on its last legs . We have whittled it down to a Ford Focus ( petrol ) the sales person from the previous day had convinced us that a one litre engine was the way to go but we were unsure as a lot of our miles are either motorway or uphill and down dale .
Anyway , he was busy when we turned up so we spoke to another , much older guy ( 60 +) who really listened as we described the sort of driving we do regularly and he suggested a 1.5 litre which is what we had thought after reading lots of reviews . We hardly ever buy cars as once they belong to us we run them until the bitter end so we don’t have much experience to draw on . It felt good to be properly listened to and although they didn’t have any in stock they are on the look out .
We would like to be brave enough to go for as hybrid but don’t feel confident enough about the refuelling/ recharging opportunities. We have found quite a few hybrid camper vans though , as we are hoping to buy one in the future it might be the way to go .
LBB is back on the scene from Monday so all motoring thoughts will be on the back burner .
Happy Saturday .
