Trees

I may have to stitch a load more if these up to decorate Christmas presents this year.  They still need a bit of work but at least you can tell they are meant to be trees.

As it was a long old week at work with an avalanche of queries and lots of training videos recorded. I had loads of Friday deadlines but as I managed to get everything done a bit early thanks to a few long days earlier in the week, I took Friday afternoon off and started the weekend early.

I popped out to M&S for a cuppa with mum and dad as I’d heard the Christmas food brochure was out and I wanted to pick one up for a browse. When I was buying our coffees the cafe lady told me to book the food up quick as slots were disappearing at a manic rate. I guess Covid may have changed lots of plans or maybe it is just another kind of panic buying. I thought she might have been exaggerating but I looked online and she was right that lots of delivery slots were already gone, so that concentrated the mind. I sat down with mum and we got our list together so now all is ordered and booked in.

It was obviously a christmassy prep kind of day as I also ordered some Christmas face masks - this year’s version of the Christmas jumper - who would have believed they’d be on the shopping list!
