De Russi Suites Mudgee

This was our very nice accommodation for the night in Mudgee. De Russi Suites are a chain (of 2, the other beings hotel in Orange) of boutique hotels. This one is the old Mechanic Institute and it was a great place to stay, the rooms were beautifully designed with so many great touches! Many of the original features inside have been retained along with new modern additions!

A great place to stay and I can't recommend it enough to anyone travelling around this area.

On the way home we stopped in a tiny town called Rylston and had fantastic Yum Cha with Marty and his family.......of all the places you would expect to find excellent Asian food, Rylston wouldn't be at the top of the list........

Then we hit the road, passing through a very nasty hail storm on the way.......it was pretty scary but fortunately there doesn't seem to be any damage to our car!

Weekend....done!
