10/2/2020: A DAY LIKE NO OTHER

Bougainvillea is still thriving in our heat.  Sometimes it is planted in just the right spot where it thrives & creates a beautiful accent.  It might be the only bright spot.

Today President Trump was hospitalized after testing positive for 
COVID-19.  There have been reports he has a fever, chills & a cough.
The First Lady also has tested positive but seems to be asymptomatic.
White House Aide, Hope Hicks, Sen. Mike Lee,  RNC Chair Rona McDaniel
& 3 members of the White House Press Corps have tested positive, also.
There will probably be more because there have been many in-door rallies, receptions, & fundraisers attended by these people, where masks & social distancing were scorned.  

It is a sad day when any US president is hospitalized, but this comes as no surprise.  I do hope they all get well, but then quietly go away after the 
Big Blue Wave washes ashore.
