Grasmere

A stunning day in the lakes. The weather forecast said that the central lakes would be broken sun with mist to start, and that's exactly what we got. We headed to Grasmere to find the like flat calm with mist drifting across fells, occasionally breaking to allow a glimpse of the tops. Some stunning shots from this. Later in the morning the mist had gone but there were also breaks in the cloud giving wonderful transient light.

Although there were many great shots to choose from This shot across Grasmere to the village and looking up Dunmail Raise was one of my favourites - just pipping another in colour where a moment of sun brought out the colours on the trees.

First blipday tomorrow. Thinking cap on for what to do - I have a couple of ideas!
