Helmet sculpture

A busy day so a quick late blip. A day in lovely historic Lewes today. Our daughter used to live here so know it well. Rediscovered the old priory ruins, lovely gardens, the castle and more. Blip is the Helmet Sculpture by Enzo Plazzota erected in 1964 to mark 700th anniversary of the Battle of Lewes. 
Ended the day with mum/ daughter drinks and a delicious thai takeaway.
