Happy Birthday, Uncle Chris!

It's Chris's birthday today and, as he'd taken the day off, we met him for breakfast in the local Lounge cafe after we'd dropped Sophie off at school.

The heavy rain gave me a chance to do a bit more photo editing this morning, then we went for a walk after lunch when the rain eased up.

Kate, Joel & Sophie came over for a celebratory meal this evening and Sophie "helped" Chris open his presents :)

She made him a card yesterday on which she'd written "to the best ucl in the world". Here she is preparing to help him blow the candles out on his cake (and eat it!)
