Solway coast

We spent a couple of hours near Allonby this afternoon.

Lovely sunny weather! ( even though Storm Alex is battering the South of England! )

The photo shows Criffel, a mountain near Dumfries in Scotland.

The ‘extra’ is a flock of Oystercatchers...We walk very, very slowly towards them...then suddenly they take off, and land again several hundred yards away up the beach.
