The New House in Vermont

This is where we landed, amid the Covid mess. We meant to find a smaller house and downsize our lives, with no more kids living at home, but we had to take the best thing available since we had accepted a great offer on the old place. We are now in Fairfield, VT, on 10+ lovely acres, in a house that's way too big and has a lot of "issues," like incorrectly plumbed heating system, rusted appliances, poorly constructed deck that the insurance company rejected us for (until Bruce rebuilt much of it), etc. But the house is several hundred years younger than our old one. That's something, right?
