Outdoor office

Gloating gloating I know but I had to post that view. They still won’t let me in the building so I’ve been doing outdoor office and using the WiFi.

After work we did The Big Ikea Shop. Try as we might to buy everything second hand, after one week without proper bedding, living room lighting, bath mat... we decided our squalour needed an upgrade and without wading through flea market after flea market picking up individual items here and there. As is often the case with Ikea, we came away with candles and a toolkit and any other irresistible item they put in our path. Rory convinced me not to buy the cheapest biggest lamp for the lounge, which we agreed was a good idea after all once it was constructed. We still need a table and chairs and a big pot, but our flat is looking much much more homely. Unpacking so much stuff felt quite Christmassy!
