Northern Stroll!

Back Home from our holiday break in Chester (sigh).

After stocking up on essentials we went for a brisk walk up Larkhill.  Most of the field are now plowed; with a soft brown hue, dotted with black and white.  So many blackbirds and seagulls!!

I was reminded that a common scene from our trips around Chester was a pair (thankfully) of magpies; and here was another pair in the verge of a field.

I don't think this was one of our northern cousins, who had hitched a lift. However this is a homage to the frequent companions on our walks around Chester.  I love the determined walk!
