Day out

Last night we decided to go out for the day as Thursday looked liked it was going to be a nice day.   So after breakfast we set of for Leckford. And went to Longstock Nurseries they belong to John Lewis and Partners they are open to the public. They have a lovely cafe so first stop was coffee and cake. Then a walk around the garden centre where they also have a walled garden. see extra photos. Then a walk around the farm shop   By now it was lunch time so back to the cafe. We sat outside as it was sunny. By now it was 2.30 so we left to come home but changed our minds and went to Stockbridge. We know of a nice walk along by the river. We came across all the cows in the river. It looked like they we waiting for the gate to open. Then we spotted the Cormorants up in the tree. Walked back to the walk. Got home at about 5.30pm. We had a lovely day out.
