fast on eight legs

Think I'm a glutton for punishment, seeing as I'm petrified of these blighters. Thankfully this little fellow is no bigger than a sunflower seed so I was pretty much OK - until the bggr jumped a bit when I was trying to focus. Imagine a tiny baby spider zoomed so it's about 7 times bigger on my lcd screen and you get a good idea of the distance I jumped.

Non-blip related, one of my best friends G (hubby to H) ran the London Marathon today in around 4hrs 40 ish. To say I'm proud of him is an understatement.

Maybe I should do something similar for charity one day...
