Linville Sunrise

Silverback file:

A shot of Linville at sunrise taken from the rail trail campsite.

Pub on the left across the road, old station ahead. Close up of the station in the extra.

We’ve moved onto Kingaroy now, famous for growing peanuts. Rode a nice section of the trail with a smooth bitumen sealed surface. Most of the others have been dirt roads. A country singer came to the caravan park and put on a show at happy hour last night. Ah Queensland....... It is what it is!

Enzo’s become quite expert at crossing cattle grids on foot. There’s a great little video on his Facebook page.

Odd because whenever we drive over one the noise terrifies him and he comes forward to sit in the passenger footwell of the van.

Due home in about three days now, thanks for everyone’s interest in our travels.

Normally we take off again just before Xmas and head south for summer to avoid the heat. This year it will all depend on where we’re at with Covid. Seems Australia is well on top of the first wave now, though Victoria had considerably more problems than the rest of the country. Waiting to see what happens next before making any plans.
