Natural Art

This is a really big mushroom in my garden; it looks like something took big bites out of it, but I think it might just have broken off. I liked the design and thought it might be a good photo for Abstract Thursday. 

Today was another pleasant day to be outside. I spent a good bit of time on the phone with my granddaughter (Ellie's Mom); she is trying to get out of another abusive relationship and planning to move back in with her Mom & Dad.......wow, that is going to be interesting. I think Ellie will like to see her, but I wonder how long she will actually stay there.  I refuse to worry about it.

Our daughter is staying over here tonight; she came to town for a birthday party; all her friends from her neighborhood of her home from 6 years ago were there. She is amazing about keeping friendships with her grade school, high school, college, and neighborhood friends.
