Grandpa, Sleepy Grandson, and the Mississippi

Linden, Todd and I took a trip to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for the Mid America Print Council Conference. We invited our families to meet up with us while we were in the Midwest. Grandpa F was able to come, but Grandma F had a prior commitment at home and couldn't make the trip. This photo is from an overlook of the Mississippi River that Todd, Grandpa and Linden visited while I attended a lecture. Linden had fallen asleep in the car, so he was a bit sleepy in the photo. During most of our visit with Grandpa, Linden was very active, keeping Grandpa entertained by eating lots of Cheerios, playing with toys and books that Grandpa brought for Linden's birthday, and climbing the stairs of the hotel and art building where the conference took place.
