Morning

Last Saturday I got a letter from our local hospital apologising that they hadn't sent it two years ago, but it seemed there was a glitch in their IT systems. The top half of the letter contained all my details and the body of the letter was about someone - unnamed, thankfully - who is not me, even though she has the same condition as me. A very serious glitch in their human systems. On Monday I phoned the hospital and they were as appalled and as apologetic as they should be.

This afternoon, having come back from my first night not in my own home since I moved in, I had the follow-up appointment with my GP that I should have had a year ago. They threw in a flu jab as a compensatory bonus.
