The old and the new

The building works at the old Royal Infirmary, now called Quartermile, are fairly coming on. Here is a view from North Meadow Walk looking at a refurbished building (which once housed some of the medical wards) and the new style of architecture in between the old wings of the hospital. I prefer the warm sandstone of the old building and it looks well in the sun :o)
