et lux perpetua

My Sunday creation has now been hung, but it was a faff! I decided it should go on the upstairs landing, which was the only light fitting we hadn’t replaced. I somehow managed to snap the old flex as I took down the existing lampshade, so we had a ‘fun’ afternoon replacing it.
It definitely was worth it. I’m very pleased. 

The title of the blip always reminds me of my first ever ‘big’ choral concert I sung in - Verdi’s requiem in my first year at secondary school
