Whose Idea Was It . . .

to visit John o'Groats?  Lots of cold and miserable-looking tourists in a cold, dreich, windy, and drizzly John o'Groats.  Most of them had come prepared, though we did see one hardy soul in shorts.  
We can't remember the last time we were up there.  There have been a few changes - a board for stickers so the signpost is kept pristine, a rebuilt seawall near the brewery, an old foghorn - but mostly it's the same.
