Perfect Autumn day

It has been sunny and warm all day.. glorious.  I was tempted out for a mid afternoon walk by the sunshine and we had a lovely time.  There are so many berries this year.. here they are hawthorn berries but just 10 feet behind me there are thousands of berries on a wild holly tree.  (I will be keeping an eye on those!)
We met 5 men on bicycles and a woman with 6 dogs.. Flossie was very good about being surrounded.. there was a large poodle, a black lab, a golden retreiver, a black and white spaniel, a rather older ginger spaniel and a small terrier perhaps a border terrier or cairn (never sure about those wire haired, small, brown dogs). She was delighted to get stuck in with the chasing games in and out and through the river.. but it did start to get quite wild so we made an exit (not before F was given a treat!)
