there’s a man on our roof. the roofers arrived early today to start repointing the chimney...it’s pretty high up there but he seems very comfortable without a harness or anything. turns out his assistant is an ex-pupil of bee’s. daisy was home early for her college call and me and mum walked down to coop to get some things. so my first day home alone was fine and quite busy...nice weather helped. the normality of the kids being back at school feels positive. we watched bake off at night...we really don’t like dave. love noel.
