Kitchen Shelf

Every so often the shelves need a spring clean. I like open shelves but they are dust traps. Here's a selection of stuff I keep in the kitchen. The ceramic pots were a birthday present from my grandson (I think he had some help). I bought the tiny striped cactus to go in them. I hope they really are slow growing.

So wet overnight but a nice sunny late morning and with no other demands a good walk. Then a flat white to celebrate International Coffee Day. Who knew?

This afternoon I'm hoping to interview someone who has lived locally in the same house since 1925. It's part of the centenary celebrations of the 'Homes for Heroes'.
