Art and Nature
Due to chores and children, only had time for a quick walk this morning, but managed to complete it during the glorious sunshine we had mid-morning. Returning from Stockbridge (where the thistle ironwork was spotted), we wove our way through The Botanic Gardens where some of the rhododendrons had started to flower.
Dear daughter returned from school rather disgruntled at the whole idea of Valentine's Day. I confirmed that surprise flowers are much more romantic than those forced upon us by commercialism. Yup, none for me either... And romance dead in Primary 6 too, according to my son.
We seem to be celebrating this evening by watching some footy match - Tottenham vs Lyon I'm told. I'd rather be blipping!
