Jasmine

For a couple of weeks each year the jasmine on our front fence earns its keep. 

For the rest of the year it is a vigorous, rather nondescript plant.  A bit of a nuisance because it needs to be cut back continually.  But for these two weeks it burst into glorious scented flowers.
