The invalid

We’re keeping Mr Perkins in after yesterday. He is very displeased by this. Last night, he spent a lot of time miaowing to be out, a lot of time being encouraged to use his litter tray and a lot of time pawing pointlessly at his cat flap.

This morning, around 5–5.30 am, he wailed and miaowed and miaowed and wailed. I got up and watched him eat and encouraged him to use his litter tray. He did use it eventually, and peace was restored. Phew.

You’ll be glad to hear that his infection seems a lot better and that his wound is healing nicely. We really appreciate your kindness towards him. It’s nice to know you are thinking about him :)
