Day's End
A very busy and intense day at the workhouse but a couple of good and positive results and happy customers.
Happy people sometimes end up in tears and I then realise the intense pressure they have been under. I always think I know that beforehand, but I am always surprised at the comment that makes them crack. Usually it is a compliment and being kind just tips them over. It happened twice today and twice I was taken aback...
I was very proud of someone today who has really suffered whilst a long and drawn out process had to be gone through. I love a quick fix, a result and a swift way forward, but in this instance we had to go the long way round. I just hope the next leg of the journey has a positive spin and that success is just around the corner.
I had a late meeting tonight which was insightful and inspiring. A young mind full of enthusiasm and drive, keen to push forward and make a mark. I admire that in a world of compromised finance and cut-throat progress and promotion.
I saw a lot of respect cross my path today - it energised and enthused me!
