The eagle has landed

Looking out the bedroom window this morning I spotted this bird taking a bath. At first I thought it was a pigeon but the colour was wrong, couldn’t find my camera so grabbed the iPad and took this photo through the window -not my greatest shot. We did a search and think it might be “Sparrow Hawk” please feel free to contradict.

In other news.

We needed to get in touch with Sykes holidays. In April they cancelled our holiday due to Covid 19 and we rebooked for the 9th of October but not comfortable going in the present climate. Unfortunately as the government has not put a ban on travel we couldn’t get a refund so we have had to rebook again for next year. 

Weather broke again this afternoon and it’s back to rain.
