Day 198 - Soda Bread

After breakfast steamed the beetroot and decided to make some Soda Bread - never done this before but thought it might be a good idea should we need it in the future.  It turned out OK and tasted good.  Stupidly I never thought about blipping it before we ate it at lunch time.  As the garden was a no go area  today (too wet and wet stuff falling from the sky) I needed an indoor blip so this is the best I could come up with.  The Helmet is the Parish Magazine and I used to help collating this on the last Tuesday of the Month.  Sadly due to Covid this no longer happens and it arrives already stapled etc.  Since Jan this year KG has been doing the colour photographs for the front cover and he uses mostly local pictures.  Inside this one as well is the story Amanda wrote awhile back - soa lot of input from our family.
I was thinking yesterday that we hadn't had a reminder for our green bin and told KG and when we checked online no subscription.  So today they did empty the green bin but put a notice on that we were not subscribed - a bit spooky that!  Anyway all subscribed now.
A very wet and cold day today.
