The first week of October is Children's Book Week.  This has been so for 66 years. Apparently, I grew up with it.

Primary schools usually pay a lot of attention to this event.

Also, libraries pay extra attention to reading and often organize various activities around the Children's Book Week, such as a lecture by a writer.

Last week it was decided by the Children's Book Week committee at our school that we too should do something like this. They appointed 10 people including me. With the theme 'and that time', it shouldn't be difficult, they thought. Bring something old from home and tell something with a link to the past, they said.

With not much left in the house to take to school, I chose this children's book with the title is 'This is not a CoBrA', and made a link to the past in art.
