Bank Stuff-ed

It's not fully Santander's fault - we have been so fed up by our legacy bank's (Banco Popular) approach and attitude over the years since they took over Citibank in Spain, that we are transferring everything to our other bank where our mortgage sits. However, it was Santander who suddenly froze my accounts overnight without notice for lack of 'know your client' info that needs to be refreshed every five years, meaning I couldn’t replenish the current account from which some standing orders are paid. It's taken two half days and several visits to sort it all out.

Still, small fry in life compared with dear Wildwood caught in the midst of the raging California fires. Thoughts with her and John.
