Oh Istanbul!

How I have missed you. How you greeted me too, with large scale full on loud and drenching thunderstorm all afternoon. Such a nice change from the sunshine of Akbuk ! I flew from Bodrum this morning, and went directly to college campus for the rest of the day. Some personal business but mostly social with Caitlin, Alex and Deniz. After drinks at Bizim Tepe, Deniz dropped me off at the hotel then I went to Akmerkez for dinner and an early night in this nearby rather Brutalist styled but cheap hotel as I have a busy day tomorrow.
