Chincoteague Sunset

We drove several hours and stopped at the Assateague National Seashore in Maryland.   We pulled our chairs and towels out of the car and spent a lovely couple of hours sitting on the beach before we drove south to the Virginia end of the island to the house we have rented in Chincoteague for the next few days.  

Just as the sun was setting we took a quick drive to the southern end of the island and watched the sunset.  I always find the colors most vibrant a few minutes after the sun drops below the horizon.  Tonight's was a treat.
