world in a grain of sand

By kateann

did you miss me, yeah?

I feel as though I've been away from blip for ages, but going away for a couple of nights has reawakened my interest in photography. I'd say the weather's been too bad or some such, but actually, I just think I've been too inward looking.
We've been staying in a lovely hotel, owned by the National Trust, in North Wales. Not everyone's choice of venue in February (!) but it's been fabulous. The staff were brilliant, and the house was just how I imaging the professor's house to have been in the Narnia books, with lots of different levels, panelling and old, mullioned windows with thick glass. Some of the rooms had two fire places, and there were lots of lovely blazes.
the weather had changed dramatically today, blue skies and sunshine. This meant we could see fantastic views of Conwy castle and the mountains behind as well as getting another walk in the grounds of Bodysgallen hall.
We spent the rest of the morning in the spa, then had a slowish journey home, enjoying the mountains with their snowy tops.
some backblips for the last couple of days.
