Poppies

We've had a windy but mild August and a very mild, almost late summer, September. These poppies must have decided that it's time to start all over again and to skip winter this year.

One of my friends and almost neighbour had a birthday today and I was invited to dinner this evening. There were eight of us having a lovely meal and a very relaxed time together. It's so rare these days to meet up and just being together for an evening talking about normal things. 
I can't remember the word Corona being mentioned even once.
