fire tuesday

It's too far for me to walk to our usual bbq site by the river just now, so we had Fire Tuesday in a clearing in the woods instead. Although the day had been sunny and warm, the evening darkened and cooled pretty quickly once the sun had set, so we didn't hang around after the food was eaten.

It was my second foray into the woods today..on the first, I felt like Chicken Licken (extra). A bumper crop of acorns this year, I think!
