Thistle’ll do or should that be Thistle don’t?

Phin didn’t sleep quite as well as the previous night but at least there wasn’t a 4am wake up call! We took delivery of a new crate yesterday (new to us) from friends who no longer need one - compared to his first one, this is huge. He’d slept in it on and off yesterday and fur guest time at night he coped well.

I was on the early shift and yes always so happy to see us in the mornings, it’s a really lovely way to wake up.

Vet visit for his second vaccination and he was so excited in the car (accepted his harness better than previously too) and almost beside himself to meet the vet. He really loves new people and totally wasn’t fazed by the prodding and use of the stethoscope. Didn’t even notice he was being injected but that could face been because he was munching on a doggy biscuit!

I’m taking part in a 5K a day challenge every day in October to raise money for local disadvantaged children so took myself out for a walk this afternoon to practise. Miscalculated a little as my route was only 4.87km! But spotted these overblown thistles when I went through the dog walking field near the house.

Quiet evening watching GBBO and watching the puppy sleep!
