As good as it got today.

Early walkies with Carmen, as it's Tuesday, which takes much longer than usual at the moment as she's a bit of a forager. Today she collected chestnuts and hazelnuts, but sometimes had to fight Elvis for them! She drew attention to what she was doing so of course he was interested, and started to eat them as fast as she was picking them up!
I spent the rest of the day hacking back shrubs which had escaped being pruned last year. It was quite fun as I have a new pair of super sharp secateurs, but in the end I got too tired to pick up all the prunings, so I'll do that tomorrow.
