Leaving the west

Headed for home today, sunset at our backs.

We stopped at the Royal Gorge Park in Canon City, CO. We walked across the bridge over the canyon - 955 feet above the Arkansas River! It was windy enough to feel the bridge move at times. The zip line and gondola were closed due to wind as well. Beautiful views, but I still don't love the heights... a nice flat vacation would be nice next time!

Made it into Kansas before stopping for the night. Acres and acres of windmills in Kansas, though all we could see in the dark were the synchronized flashing red lights on all of them.
