I was looking down & then ............
this little beauty caught my eye, then all I had to do was find it, get it in focus, & shoot. Not as easy as it sounds if you have ever attempted to snap a Hummingbird hawk-moth. It's even more difficult without a viewfinder, trust me. This is the best of 4 pics before it flew off. It's actually the second time I've spotted one in the garden ... I was thinking I needed to get Valerian planted in the garden, but no, the pelargonium & salvia are tempting enough.
A busy morning on the plot, sorting pots, seed trays, splitting plants. Jim packed up his bits in the van to move off site. Will be a shame to see him go. He was one of those people that you could chat to about anything, I hope whoever takes over the plot is friendly, coz there are a few who can't even say hello. ;-(( According to those who know, there is a waiting list. Has Covid19 revved up those couch potatoes??
Hubby is currently watching Take Me Out ... He's 76 ... & critisizing the length of the male contestants hair. I've just reminded him of his age ...
Roast duck, spuds, turnips, sprouts & carrots for dinner tonight..... sauce yet to be created.
