TINY TUESDAY ~ TUSSOCK MOTH CATERPILLAR

Whilst in the garden today I happened to turn over a black plastic plate used for placing under a pot and this little caterpillar was, I think, beginning to hibernate.  If anyone thinks it different, please tell me.

After taking a couple of photos I carefully turned to plate back over and hope it can continue it's journey.

You may remember this is the second unusual caterpillar we have found here.

A very still day and luckily for Oscar we saw 6 squirrels for him to chase.  He came home exhausted and he wasn't the only one!!

Now getting darker already.  How I hate the oncoming thought of being cold, again.  Stay safe xxxxx
