Hedgerow goodies

Back to having a wander 'up the road' now our holiday is over! Unfortunately the road is north/south & there was a chilly northerly wind blowing .... fair to say it was a tad fresh!

Not much to photograph today as the birds were not cooperating ..... so I've chosen a few hedgerow fruits & plants ..... hope you like it :-)

We did see a fair bit though .... including the Great Spotted Woodpecker ....... a pair of Buzzards circling & a hovering Kestrel that dived down .... hopefully catching it's dinner! A mouse also ran across the road in front of us!

Surprisingly there were also a couple of dragonflies flying about!

Thanks for all the lovely responses to my holiday blips ...... back to the 'same old, same old' again now!
