Waitin' on a Sunny Day

I think listening to music inspires me sometimes. That's why I've been using song titles as entry titles.

But that is beside the point.

It's rainy and cold again today. I walked out of the dorm around 9:15 because I had class at 9:30 and what do I see? El barco had a flat tire :( And not just a little flat -- it was really, really flat. El Barco is what everyone calls my car for two reasons.

1) My car, a 2002 Chevy Impala, is very, very big. Especially when you consider I am only 5 feet tall. I could lay on the back seat comfortably stretched out.
2) I'm half Mexican, so if you are going to call my car "the boat," why not make it in Spanish?!

So that is the story behind El Barco. I don't know who came up with that name. Someone just said it and that's what it's been ever since.

Anyhow, I am a bit frustrated that now I get to change a tire in the rain when I get out of class at 2.

So I guess this picture shows my frustration with today. I have a flat tire. It's raining. It's cold. I just want to curl up under some blankets :)
