Close call…

Hello Everyone,

I woke up early (to early really) and pottered around until it was time to go and collect my daughter… We had a very easy run to Heathrow and was there with plenty of time.

Once there we part the car and wen to baggage check in… she explained why she was travelling to LA and the airline said that she would need to speak with US Homeland Security. So, after a wait a gentleman arrived and the reason for travel was explained…

He then said he needed to see a copy of Sarah’s mums Green card to allow her to fly, so a call was made and a copy of the green card was emailed across, then the details had to be checked before her bags could be checked in… This whole episode took around an hour to complete.
Anyway, I phoned Sarah on my way home and had a chat before she boarded.

She has a ticket to fly home on the 22nd December, but she is going to renew her green card so if that happens before her return flight, she may just stay there…
