I knew there’d been a frost while we were away, word was out on the allotments that it was emergency squash Harvest time . We rather over did the planting and now have a car full of unripe ones. Produce gifts for everyone weather they like it or not then !
Apparently we are to store them for 10 days at 80 degrees in order to ripen them well enough to then store them . In the absence of owning a hot house or sauna it’ll be raw squash pressies for everyone then !
