Painting in my journal

I began painting yesterday’s art journal entry with some new watercolor paints recommended by my artist friend Nancy. I like what I see. Shelly was on his own today spending most of it attending zoom yam kippur services and fasting. Since I’m not Jewish I stayed home and did not fast. We got together after services and picked up dinner at Panda Palace, our favorite Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon I walked down to Boulevard Park and did another drawing in my art journal. I stopped for ice cream on the way home.
