Sorry, I couldn't control the crowd today to get them out of my blip. They were very disobedient!

I was in a rush at the time to get to work (as usual), so wasn't quite sure what was going on here with all the heart shaped padlocks in Covent Garden, but found this...

The British Heart Foundation has installed five small metal mesh sculptures - a heart and four letters that spell out L O V E - on the West Piazza to promote a healthy heart on Valentine's Day.

Buy a 'Love Lock' from the barrow close by, write a message to your loved one, attach it to one of the sculptures, then throw away the key (this symbolises love locked forever). Over 2,000 locks have already been attached and all proceeds to to the British Heart Foundation.

Another splendid idea to raise money for charity!
